70 teaspoons placed in tearooms around the institute & observed weekly over 5 months. 80% of spoons disappeared; spoon halflife~81 days. Communal room halflife lower than in specific labs. 250 spoons annually required to maintain 70 spoon population.

Good story on the records of those taken during the Chicago raids. Contrary to the administration's claims, few had records or reasons to be arrested. I know it's not surprising to many of us, but it's important that this type of in depth reporting is done so it's on the record.
