I’d suggest one of the issues here is that AI implementation has not been an organic, bottom-up process. One more comment on the Post debacle: this hurts journalism broadly. Good journalists will go do something else. The rest will be fighting for fewer jobs and everyone will earn less. Fewer people will take up the career. The damage done is to the ecosystem, as well as the paper.

One of my favorite features of [redacted]'s dashboards is having to remember to click "Run" when I load it. I don't know about YOU, but when I load a dashboard, I so don't care about the up-to-date, real-world state of the data on my dashboards.
