I keep hearing people cry “the military should do something.” They don’t respond well when I say unilateral military action to remove a Pres is the last thing we need. That We the People are the line of defense, so link arms, lift up, lean on, & shield those you trust, because they are the help.

We truly are. Viewing it any other way, involves wrapping our arms around a very ugly lie...that will absolutely lead to our collective demise: the idea that "someone else" is going to take care of it.

Find the closest mirror, and look into it. The person looking back at you...that...is the only person coming to your rescue. The question, is will you finally accept this? It's the most truthful and empowering fact you can embrace.

In addition to my firm, I founded Democracy Docket to be an independent, pro-democracy news site. As legacy media retreats from its voting and election coverage and bends a knee to Trump, that work has also increased exponentially.

However, it is daunting. DOJ has unlimited resources and the GOP network of election deniers and legal groups that support them is vast. There is nothing remotely comparable on the left. And that is before you get to the challenges of the current composition of the courts, including SCOTUS.

We are a small firm of 60 lawyers currently litigating 80 voting, election and redistricting cases. I am not complaining. Defending democracy is the honor of my life. Yet, it is notable that Big Law is almost entirely absent from these fight. I wrote about this earlier this week.

The Department of Justice has sued 24 states and the District of Columbia for access to sensitive voter data on more than 100,000,000 Americans. My law firm has intervened on behalf of voters to fight DOJ in 23 of the 25 cases. Tomorrow we will do the same in the remaining two. Stay tuned.
