Just checked out and spoke to the manager. Apparently there’s nothing they can do about cockroaches. It’s an old part of the city and they just get everywhere.

Fucking hell just got up to go to the loo (it’s past midnight here) and there’s at least one cockroach in this room. This hotel is hideous. We thought about checking out after last night but couldn’t really afford to go elsewhere. Wish we had. By far the worst place I’ve ever stayed and not cheap.

We head home tomorrow. Boo. It’s been an amazing trip and I’m leaving a little bit of my heart here til next time. Birbs of the day are these two, bickering over some ice cream.
