All that being said, I am still really upset that I can't seem to grow my hair past a certain point. Do any other curl queens have any advice for me? Since I started asking for help on here instead of letting needs go unmet, I'm actually seeing my hair have some actual length growth for the first time in a while — because I can afford to condition it often enough that it's not just breaking at the ends and keeping my hair the same basic length.

I am very lucky to have certain people in my life. I try limiting my mutual aid / $ requests to when I really really need them—when I've either exhausted other avenues of making ends meet, or when I physically/spiritually cannot pursue those avenues—and I'm still so surprised when y'all come thru.
