I’m not sure anyone has ever been so back, but right now, we ARE SO back.

Very pleased with how this shell is coming out so far. The exterior trim took a while to cut the mask for but also came out super crisp. Plus I found a trick to add fluting to the turn signals!

That was good, not how I expected it to end and kinda wanted something different tbh but I appreciated the conclusion.

Finally

The most pleasing part of the painting process is peeling the masking tape off the exterior of the shell and seeing all the planning pay off.

it's basically the number one rule to any medium ; you can't just tunnel-vision and pigeon hold yourself into a corner. that niche may feel comfortable but it's stifling and prevents you from seeing "the bigger picture" in any sort of artistic/cultural context

I have got to do everything I can to keep that absolutely NARSTY front fitment when I mount this body. Still working on the rear but it's coming together
