As much harder as this is for city employees, I am very very glad they decided to withdraw this request. It’s a hard and fucked up decision to have to make and, like the shutdown, we’re only here bc of irresponsible electeds, but New Orleans CANNOT fall to the R’s and this was an open door for that.
