I have no proof of this, but I want to believe that someone at CR pointed out that they’d likely lose the license at the end of this year and that would open them up to probably all kinds of trouble if they don’t release these and that’s why it’s all coming out now.

Long but so much emotion packed in & visually & audibly it’s top tier Here’s the 🇨🇦 Cineplex cup & buckets. IMO 🇯🇵 got the better designed & packaged ones but they’re still pretty cool

Among all the Hollywood studios, Sony won the streaming format war. By slowly acquiring a monopoly in North American anime via Crunchyroll, a stake in Aniplex. Even in their non-anime film library, they sold their catalogue to bidding streamers & reaped all the rewards

Pretty obviously current one but I’m going with Demon Slayer Raises the bar for animation on a technical level, some amazing action, excellent dub performances, the humor is well-paced & the seasons aren’t too long
