To oppose trans people's rights and freedoms you break so many social contracts. We keep saying that trans rights are human rights, but conversely, human rights are trans rights, because the second you decide some people don't deserve the same rights and freedoms as others? You start to lose it all.

You don't get to erode trust in science and medicine, refuse to listen to experts in the field and trans people ourselves (which as the sole stakeholders in our own healthcare, you should), and not expect that you've opened the door to the likes of RFK Jr and other cranks and crackpots.

...or that people are entitled to privacy and dignity. And if you break open the Pandora's Box that some people aren't deserving of certain rights and freedoms, aren't entitled to privacy, because you find them icky and don't like what they do with their freedoms, you've just let fascism in.

This is entirely true on so many levels I don't think I could possibly detail it exhaustively, but you really can't oppose trans people's human rights and still have freedom of expression and bodily autonomy, the idea that people are entitled to self determination goes right out the window....
