I'm glad I stuck with this book because it was definitely an adjustment after recent Supergirl stories. Embracing the weird in general, and especially early Silver Age Supergirl, just makes this a freakin' delight.

I enjoyed this one as a companion piece to Wakako-zake since it involves people going out drinking and eating.

I am so hopeful for this. The potential for good smaller films from DC without focsing on tights and capes would be a huge plus in moving forward for the years to come.
