Really loving the way Umi and Maki are coming off in this adaptation. The date in this episode came off really well.

I said this in the review, but the K-On vibes are strong with this one. If K-On added alcohol.

Kind of a last minute pick up for me, as the premise sounded interesting. Didn't quite get what I was expecting, but I thought what we did get was really good. This could quietly be one of this season's gems.

Some interesting developments this week. I feel like there's a good chance this one is going to keep my on my toes. And that's a good thing.

And a new spring season anime review from me today, as I took a stab at this since it has the delightful WIT Studio behind the animation.

Couldn't help but think of the debut of Ameku M.D. last year while watching this, where the first two episodes dropped at once so that the entire first case could be taken in at once. Wish this had done the same, because it's hard to really know how to feel so far as we're just getting to the meat.

Since the season ended, I've shotgunned the manga. I was right to be intrigued by Tairazuma (tm Suzuki). Whole thing went to some places I didn't expect. Can't wait for S2 and glad we don't have to wait long!

Knew nothing about this until after the season started, but it quickly turned into one of the highlights of my week.

This series didn't get a lot of attention ahead of its debut, but it gained a huge number of fans right out of the gate. One of them was our very own @mdthomas.bsky.social, who now takes a look at the finale and the season as a whole.

Cute premise, but this did not click with me even slightly. Definitely wanted to like this a lot more than I did.
