Watched a 'movie' called Murdercycle about an alien which turns a person on a bike into a tubes-covered alien killer. Came out on 4:3 DVD in like 1999, & looks like it cost about $49.95. The weirdest thing about the movie Sunshine - the sci-fi one - is that a lot of it is near-identical to a 1990 "Alan Smithee film" called "Solar Crisis". I kid you not. Then add a touch of Event Horizon, and Hellraiser 4, and you've basically got Sunshine. Except - Sunshine is quite good.

Starfleet Academy. What can you say? Everything subverted my expectations, from Steve Guttenberg's antics to Michael Winslow's wild vocal sound effects, to Commandant Lassard 's ridiculous governance of the academy, to the bizarre gay bar sequences. A very strange (but welcome) update to Star Trek.
