There's so much talk about the importance of a knock-out first issue, and that's true. But I'd argue if you tank a second issue, you're likely just as stuffed. What an incredible example ABSOLUTE BATMAN is for a #2. Synder, Dragotta and Martin are just killing it. Palpable energy and care.
