turns out there was a bug with the new billboard shader, but ONLY for android users, ONLY on the TTC streetlamps/trees, and ONLY when the holiday is Halloween. this issue does not affect anything else using the new billboard shader. i fixed it, but here's a video of the perplexing yet hilarious bug

sometimes friends mutually grow distant and drift apart. it's a natural thing that happens and isn't the fault of anyone or anything. I've historically had trouble dealing with this and would put way too much time and energy trying to reignite distant friendships that rarely succeed.

this weekend i spent more time w/ current and flourishing friends as well as new ones rather than chase distant long gone ones and I've had more fun at this con than I've had in a long time. thanks y'all also if i didn't get a chance to see ya this weekend, it doesn't mean we're distant. ^^;

still hope to reignite distant friendships if the opportunity comes up, it's just something i don't want to actively pursue anymore and instead focus on closer friends no hard feelings if we've grown distant, im still very happy you've entered my life and will always cherish memories i had with ya🧡

Something I honestly don't think Toontown gets enough credit for is its impact on MMO games as a whole. It came out over a year before World of Warcraft changed the scene, and was one of the first games in the genre directed towards a family audience.
