I went to my first con with people I'd met and known in VRChat for 2 years. I didn't feel like I was meeting anyone for the first time: I knew everyone already! In fact, meeting people in VRChat that I'd only spoken to over text and voice prior is when I felt like I'd first met them!

I was not expecting Blue Prince to be this grand of a game, my jaw is on the floor. I fear the intersection of strategy and mystery has a razor thin demographic, but for those few... This game was made specifically for me and my tastes. I just keep digging deeper and seeing the game hoped I did.

I keep thinking of making a video on "How to Kitbash VRChat avatars" but I don't know if I could explain it in a useful way in video form. It'd be how to splice avatar parts together, using clothing on avatars they weren't made for, etc. I've made tutorials for SL before but they weren't polished.

Adeon: In 1999, I looked up a list of boy's names online and picked one that felt similar enough to my real one. Keaton: My middle name. It's a 3-tailed fox race from the Zelda series. Writer: My last name. It's a Myst reference! In it, writers can imagine & define worlds, and then can visit them.

This is what you are missing in VRChat while you are away at the furry con.

I learned how to blend fur cone normals with the base mesh without editing the geometry, so they don't make lighting seams, and I feel like I've acquired a cheat code for modeling. It's still just cones jammed into the model!

I kitbashed some Spectrum bases for VRChat - It's a fun base to splice things with and I'd like to make some more!

I noticed I have about 20 or so authors following me here, likely trying to network solely due to my last name. I don't post much here yet, but boy are they going to be disappointed once I do.

Upgrading from 6 point full body tracking to 10 point! It also came with VRChat stickers.

2 years ago, my unfinished VRChat puzzle world was corrupted, and I lost all the Udon code to it. I gave up. 2 months ago, a harddrive wipe lost the models and textures, too. Last week I got an email saying PlasticSCM had a full backup of it that'll be deleted in 7 days. I got *everything* back!

Within the last month, I've met over 20 the friends I've known in VRChat for years now, in person. It's been absolutely wonderful hanging out, and I'm so happy it happened. Ya'll are great. Hope to see more of you all in the future!
