Ok this was not worth it. No wonder it took 13 years to find after the game came out.

Maybe the reason why I play xiv for example is its emphasis on story, it may be the most boring stream to watch though if I’m not watching cutscenes as I’m just in cosmic exploration crafting for hours. But I’m doing that pretty much for the combat relic items and ultimately for the story.

Mildly wondering, how many people like stories in their games as a focus? I really love story driven games with actual dialogue and even voice acting. Recently I’m playing ff9 and near the end but also I’m playing Metroid prime 4. I love that they focus on the characters in both games.

After 26 years I finally beat Ozma in ff9, Steiner did the killing blow.

I wish there was more furry movies where they don’t wear pants but still are anthro enough to wear other clothes like shirts. Only got a snippet of that in z2 with the pants optional slums.

Woah this is like the dream I had last night. I dreamt that there was tables and tables of food. First it was lots of tasty cakes and I wanted meat but I found ramen on a table and it tasted so good. I was able to eat so much yummy meat and cakes!

Just letting everyone know for tff this year. I don’t think I’ll be doing the big ramen trip I usually do. It was fun but I feel like it causes stress for me. I might go with a friend or two if there is interest.

What kind of spells do you think I cast?

I enjoy games with lots of text and pleasant music. I like characters reacting on screen while they tell a story. To me this is gameplay because I have to press a button to progress text. It’s the gameplay I enjoy but I realize it’s a niche interest.

Got a question. Is it ok to ramble about video games I like talking about here?

I wonder if ffxiv missed the point of ff9. Ff9 had such wildly different races and when it was brought into Xiv all of them just vanished. Ff9 was largely inspired by Jim Henson and the movie dark crystal. No burmecians in sight and all replaced with humans. Makes me sad.
