I'm also very honored that she chooses to play the blonde Fender jazz bass I gave her over her (also very cool) black bass her dad gave her. They just sound different, is all. I was gifted the bass in 1997 from my bass guitar teacher in Houston, a pal of Mom's.

I'm just so fucking proud of my kid. She plays bass both in her performance track shows AND auditioned and made house band, so more shows. Plus, her weekly lesson, where she mostly focuses on advanced music theory now. AND, she volunteers to tutor the Rock 101 (young kids) a few times a month! ❤️

Playing bass guitar gave my kiddo and her dad something to really do together. He has a recording set-up at the exMIL's. Sometimes the kiddo and her musician friends record themselves. So fucking awesome. Best part is, she can read music and he can't. 😂 I'm a petty bitch, whatevs.
