A positive review from Kirkus is always a relief. It seems like readers are getting from this book what I intended and I'm so grateful. UNNAMED BONES is something different from me and I'm proud of this one.

"The color is repellent, almost revolting; a smouldering unclean yellow, strangely faded by the slow-turning sunlight." I made a "Yellow Wallpaper" piece back in 2017, but I re-read the story over the weekend and wanted to try again. Much happier with this version π€

The cover story for the latest issue of Vermont's favorite newspaper Seven Days is about good ol' Ben trying to buy back Ben & Jerry's from Unilever, but the biggest jump-scare is the appearance of my big old face! Thankfully, there's also a review to go with it.

This post clearly articulates why folks MUST boycott this franchise. It is *extremely* documented what she's doing with her money. I used to cosplay Narcissa Malfoy back in the day. I met some of my closest friends at HP cons. We're still friends. We walked away from HP entirely. Please walk away.

The lack of editorial oversight this book went through is disheartening. Traditional publishing needs to speed up its processes if it wants to compete with self publishing, but not the editorial part. That's where traditional should have the distinct advantage.

Writing anything down that you find interesting for your screenwriting isn't just about remembering it. It helps train your mind to see the world through that lens. Is this a story? A moment? A character? You'll start asking this out of habit.
