Is chess really good to learn from Duolingo of all places? I mean they can't even teach a language without using AI anymore.

I'm honestly ruined by retail and have been condemned to only see straight up dumbasses in public anymore. I'm surrounded by people who give so little of a fuck that I feel like I'm unable to care in the way that I used to.

The game rating on chess com is incredibly misleading. One day I'll play against a 1000 like a "1600" and then I'll play a 600 like a "100" and still win somehow. Really demoralizing to be called new to chess after all this work I've put in, by an app of all things.
