I just spent the last 3 hours not only meal prepping for the second time, but also cooking chicken thighs for the first time. My back hurts, my hands are dry from all the hand washing, and everyone in the house is asleep. But at least lunch and dinner is done for the next few days.

The game rating on chess com is incredibly misleading. One day I'll play against a 1000 like a "1600" and then I'll play a 600 like a "100" and still win somehow. Really demoralizing to be called new to chess after all this work I've put in, by an app of all things.

Found a copy of Chess 5334 by Polgar and have been doing the puzzles out of that for a while now. 155/168 mates in 1 solved correctly which makes for 92% accuracy. It's really helping me with visualizing the board in my head, which isn't so easy to learn to do playing online.
