In 1890, the X and Y chromosomes were discovered. It was found that the men who were tested had 46 chromosomes, including an X and a Y, while women who were tested also had 46 chromosomes, including 2 X chromosomes. So obviously the conclusion was that the Y chromosome defined masculinity.

Yesterday I saw a crow and a seagull bickering over who got to sit where around a trash dumpster. Not full on fighting, but annoying each other while still staying close. They're everywhere.

I just saw the most extraordinarily thing! This snail has all the old shell material on it and an almost perfect shell (we call it house in German btw) underneath. I think it's the one I sadly stepped on a few weeks ago and thought it was done for. I can heal, too. You can heal, too!
