I started my BTCC Snetterton recording and I'm starting to get the idea all the Race 1s in 2025 were fairly pedestrian and very 'not BTCC'.

I really struggled to stay interested in that race, for the second year in a row. Just felt like very little actually happened. At least not on TV. I wonder if Palou would've won without the easier pit out. I thought they started putting cones there but no more?

I decided to record & watch IndyCar tomorrow. Staying up past 12:45am is exactly the sort of thing I would do, but I'm bored of being tired at work. I'm sure LB used to start slightly earlier?

The kind of racing news you never want to hear. Swedish driver Juha Miettinen was killed in the incident that occurred at the Nürburgring today. He was 66 years old. Rest in peace, and thoughts to his family and loved ones. 🕊️💔

And caught up with with Brands Indy Race 3, another first time winner in Rainford. Three different WSR BMW wins in a day. Ingram up 9 places. That was fun.

I've been watching more support races from BTCC Brands Indy 2025. Pleased to discover they showed quite a lot of them. Two fun Mini races, two fun Caterham races, two less crazy but interesting Porsche Sprint races.

One of the BTCC support races at Brands Indy last year was Caterham Sevens. Near the end a guy goes 3rd to 1st. Then he gets beaten by a nose on the run to the line. Fab.

Much as I like Sky's coverage, apart from the ads, it's very strange to not have any BBC TV coverage at all.

Happy to see McIlroy win that one after dropping the lead. Even with going into the trees on the 18th! Also felt the rest of the field fell back a little at the end there. Some amazing shots though, did you see Burns curl that putt.

GTWC runs for 6 hours to midnight local. Tomorrow they just have GT4, GT Revival and the Lambos. But Barcelona is 5hr15m drive away and ELMS starts Midday local tomorrow. So if you were mad enough...

I believe I've no plans tomorrow (except a tip run), so the plan is to hit the BTCC recordings. Yes I know there's an ELMS on but I don't like watching out of sequence unless I'm at the thing.

Anyway, seeing GT cars again, suddenly I realise I really miss them. Maybe one day I'll do that SRO catch up.

They are currently showing GT3 Revival qualifying. And to me the cars still look fairly current. R8, Z4, the older AMG.

GTWC Endurance at Paul Ricard will be live on Sky Sports F1 from 4.30.

Artemis II was a good dose of positivity. Great crew, great team at mission control, flawless launch, flight and reentry. Amazing sights of the moon. Different mix of people. European service module. This can be the future.

This has blown me away. Not just the flawless execution of the descent but they spotted it and tracked it.
