I haven't seen a steep drop off but I've seen a smaller one and most glaringly a change in the scope of work people want to hire me for, because they think them AI generating work ahead of me saves time (it doesn't) and that I can quickly tough that work up (I mostly can't)

Read the thread. And don't accept any story about technological determinism. No technology is inevitable. Even if you do decide to use a new piece of tech, you get to decide how and when to use it. So have those conversations. Adopting a new tech is a decision. Don't make it without inquiry!!

This is a lie (not just because Nick Clegg said it, tho that's one indicator at least). You absolutely can make "AI" systems while fairly compensating people for data. And even if it weren't a lie, then any industry that can't survive without theft and consent violations shouldn't survive anyway 🤷🏾‍♂️
