This is at least the 30th time in my life (raised evangelical) where the rapture has been interpreted to be imminent because of some political/international event or another. The Left Behind series certainly whipped that previously niche pastime into a frenzy.

Diagnosed with lymphoma. Blood tests came back previously just fine, and so did his blood tests today (though slightly anemic today). No indicators that anything was off. Caught it because this vet felt the mass with palpitation. Intestinal mass, 5 enlarged lymph nodes, and a messed up kidney.

Found a mass. :( Emperor of all kitties is in an ultrasound now.

At the vet, and my cat is holding it together better than I am. Trying to take that as a good sign.
