During yesterday’s Schengen Council meeting, ministers agreed on a new framework for faster & more effective returns🛂 State secretary Joakim Øren, representing Norway in the meeting, said it will provide clearer detention rules and allow for return centres in third countries.

Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and the EU incorporated 38 legal acts into the EEA Agreement today. Among them, guidelines for the TEN-T regulation that aims for a smart, integrated and environmentally friendly European transport network, covering road, rail, maritime and aviation transport.
