Labour promised change, instead we're seeing the same old chaos as under the Conservative Party. No wonder the public are so fed up. The PM should hold a confidence vote now so the government can focus on fixing the cost-of-living crisis, the NHS and the economy.

So I have been quiet on here recently as I focused on the Willaston and Thornton ward by-election. Really enjoyed the engagement with voters and pleased to get an increase in the Liberal Democrat vote.

These parties today united to defeat Nigel Farage’s 10 minute rule bill to take us out of the European Convention on Human Rights. The Labour frontbench abstained, the Tories voted with Reform. Only these parties turned out in force. Will this get any/much coverage from BBC, ITV, Sky etc ?

Only one of our MPs representing CWAC constituency voted against Farage's Ten Minute Bill to withdraw from the ECHR. Thankfully, we had 64 @libdems4er.bsky.social MPs to vote against it.

An interesting day at Ellesmere Port Pride. Spoke to a few veterans there who are very much against the weaponizing of flags. Our flag should promote hope not fear.
