Yes: we have tens of thousands of Minnesotans who are, for all intents and purposes, in hiding right now. Most are documented, many are even citizens. Doesn't matter, because ICE doesn't care. Our schools are at COVID-era levels of attendance, with no extra resources for support. Unimaginable harm.

They're creating an entire generation of traumatized kids who had to go in hiding and lose the most important things in their lives for a month and counting. Like thousands of families have had loved ones kidnapped. Hundreds of thousands have suffered the theft of their social needs.

DHS has a whole citizen detainment system set up in Minnesota. They snatch citizens off the street (often with proof they are citizens), detain them for a few hours, steal their phones, then release them into the cold. It ain’t about deporting citizens; it’s about terrorizing a whole population.

On a fundamental level, I prefer living in the country where taxes pay for healthcare and the next season of Heated Rivalry instead invasions of Venezuela and massive ICE raids.
