Listened to the NYT this morning explain how many jobs are being added to healthcare & I can only think of the offices swamped that weren't before. Rheumatologists, allergists, immunologists & neurologists to name a few. Wonder if there's a recent virus known to cause problems in these areas.

Every time I consider maybe relaxing so I can have a life again I'm reminded I like being alive, actually. Wear. Masks.

I went to a white high school. Short answer: no.

Vaccines were never enough but those are going away. Preventing infection with physical barriers means this is less of an issue. You can always start wearing a mask if you stopped. You can do it tomorrow. You don't have to wait. You can protect yourself and others.

The politicians of my county made laws against masking. I mask up anyway. Or I stay home, which is what they want: To eliminate disabled people from daily life so they do not have to accommodate nor see the results of their decisions.

A well fitted N95 mask offers excellent protection against Covid. When people lose their sense of smell or taste … it’s because the virus is damaging the brain. We’ve seen a drop in IQ with each covid infection. An increase in vascular disease. Long COVID may trigger Alzheimer’s. Mask up!
