They could have spent this segment explaining the energy system to viewers so they could understand that the biggest reason we have such high bills is because gas - the most expensive form of energy - sets the price almost all of the time in the UK. Not plugging things in at the wall.

This was the biggest judgement call of Badenoch's leadership and she got it badly wrong. She then blamed Labour's refusal to back the war on Muslim voters, "whose political loyalties are swayed by conflicts in the Middle east, not the British national interest". It was a shocking, shameful episode
