after drybrushing through pale flesh, pale sand, and white to level off the high spots of colour. torn makeup sponge randomly applying near-dry white and then khaki. overall "squint" tone (see thread responses) achieved. pin washes next after everything's dry.

"Why not sell 3d prints?" "Metal models are old fashioned", etc. These are all things people have said to me. When I set up Northwing Miniatures I wanted to sell metal models because I love the feeling, the heft, and the style. Sure, 3d printing has some advantages, but metals are what I love.
