I think it would have happened anyway, what with the deliberate march against anything NSFW and expressive as time goes on, but it's silly and i was already getting DMs asking why i was adult labeled on simple fan art images and such.

My account was already hit like a month ago with an account-wise adult label even though i was labeling my adult stuff properly and my feed was full of unlabeled tits and dicks. the unlabeled stuff when the labels clearly worked well certainly helped them make a case for BS like this.

If you have nsfw set to "hide" I implore you to set it to "warn". You still won't see anything except for a blurred post Otherwise once they roll out account-wide adult content labeling a whole lot of people including me are going to disappear from your timelines, even our sfw text posts

bsky too quiet? missing comments? not seeing posts from spicy artists? check your moderation settings and your bsky filters if you haven't configured these before, many of these will be set to hide as defaults
