This is a remarkable thing for a medical organization to do and I can't think of another occasion where any organization - not just ACOG - has basically come right out called BS on HHS like this.

OK, the argument some well-intentioned people are using, that the diagnosis of autism predates Tylenol isn't the slam dunk they think. It could be that Tylenol is associated with an increased risk. However, STRONG EVIDENCE EXISTS BY STUDYING WHETHER TYLENOL IS ASSOCIATED WITH AUTISM AND IT IS NOT.

One could argue that it wasn't defined as the disorder we know it as today until the 30s/40s but the same logic applies.
