Being a nemesis of something toxic isn't quite the insult they hoped it would be! Please give my petition a boost, if you think the premise is reasonable? I believe think-tank funding to sway media and policy needs to be debated and made transparent:

Next time someone asks you about energy and land use, maybe remind them that the ~35 million acres that currently grow corn for ethanol in the US could produce ~15 PWh per year of electricity from solar photovoltaics. That's ~3.5 times more than *total annual generation from all US power plants*.

Brexit is a category error. It canât be defined, except as a symbol that refers to itself. âBrexit means Brexitâ is literally the only definition that makes logical sense, but describes nothing at all. It can never be achieved.

Commenting as Govt launch a road safety strategy. Every death on our roads is unacceptable. We need a Vision Zero ethos: no deaths or serious injury. Change driving culture, reject speeding, use speed-limiting tech, strengthen sentences, end âaccidentâ language. Driving is a privilege, not a right.

Road casualties are utterly normalised in political debate, but in England and Wales alone, on average around 80 people are killed or suffer injuries which could change their lives forever *every single day*. More should be done.

Is it common for people to find it much easier to imagine that car travel can always be improved (parking provided, congestion reduced, cheaper fuel) while seeing problems with any other transport as inherent and unchangeable (delayed/costly buses, streets being unsafe to cycle or walk/wheel)?
