Is there anything more American than skimming obscene amounts of money off of a charity purported to exist to help the disadvantaged? Well, churches have, too! Franklin Graham gives himself $720,000/year from one of his charities called "Samaritan's Purse," with, clearly, the emphasis on the purse.
