This week’s main story is about the budget and staffing cuts being made to public health agencies in the U.S. under RFK Jr.’s leadership, how those cuts will impact all of us, and some foolproof ideas for what scientists can do in the absence of totally superfluous stuff like, y’know, centrifuges.

Some key public health figures are taking an extraordinary step to try to shore up U.S. vaccination policy, feared to be under threat from health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The degree if overlap between a AI generated virus and the experimental findings is incredible! One took 5 years, the other 5mins. But really demonstrates how AI can compliment traditional experimental methods, a great presentation from Dr Joe Grove

Don’t shame people for not immediately reading all the books they buy. Some books aren’t made to be ready right away, okay? Some books need time to mature. Some books need to cure for a while. Some books are prosciutto, and don’t you forget it.

Five public health facts RFK Jr doesn't want you to know: 1. Vaccines work and are safe. 2. Solid fats aren't health foods. 3. Random dead animals you find lying around are not safe to touch (or eat). 4. Methylene blue is a dye, not a miracle cure. 5. Measles is bad for you.

At the Governor's Ball at the White House, the U.S. Marine Choir cleverly chose to sing "Can You Hear the People Sing," a song from Les Miserable about the French Revolution, where the people rose up against King Louis XVI's tyranny. What a clever way to stand up against wanna-be “king” Trump!
