I really wonder how this LFC side would look with Trent back there. Wouldn’t necessarily solve our defensive challenges but would make our attack - and Mo - more potent

A glimmer of hope; Premier League sides’ chances this season (Top 5) • Liverpool - 107 • Man Utd - 97 • Man City - 96 • Arsenal - 89 • Newcastle - 88 We’re top of the charts for chances created. The attacking rhythm is flowing— once the defense settles, we’ll be firing on all cylinders.

Very shaky start but overall a fun game. Hopefully gives the lads a bit of confidence but not sure we get to play an opponent like that all season in the PL now Ange has been sacked. Szobo in CM is now the 2nd name on the teamsheet after Virg. Play literally anyone else at RB

You may well have heard this week that Liverpool have major issues. But Manchester City's second top scorer in the league is own goal, and Arsenal are creating less than one expected goal per game from open play. For that reason, there's a title race on.

Individual performances deserve their scrutiny but the whole team is out of sync. Until it clicks it is more difficult for everyone to be at their usual level.

Good move to bring Wirtz in. His “struggles” seem to be a larger squad issue and he’s our most creative player.

The lesson of the last 10 years is that there is no skill more valuable or more lucrative than being an asshole, nor any trait more professionally worthless than having integrity.

Our crossing and long balls have been horrendous all season. No ideas to break them down in the final third and giving it away whenever they go long.

"without wanting to turn him into mr numbers, because he is so much more than that" i mean haaland kind of is the numbers. he scores lots of goals. easiest great player in the modern game to describe with numbers.

Milos Kerkez 25/26 PL 62% ground duel win rate is superb Who had him at 59% aerial? And only dribbled past twice despite facing Semenyo, Elanga, Madueke and Ndiaye. Plus he's younger than Bradley. The narrative around him needs to change ASAP

1+1 - Aged 23 years and 127 days, Ryan Gravenberch is the youngest player to both score and assist a goal for Liverpool in a Premier League Merseyside derby. Gravitas.
