Pretending that staying on a toxic platform is a moral stand is just an excuse to feed your ego. It's total bullshit. Paying for X is a character flaw, plain and simple. Stop trying to justify it with hollow logic. Leaving looks much more respectable than remaining.

If the Irish government won't take a stand to ban X and Grok over its blatant generation of CSAM, maybe Ireland's internet providers Eir, Virgin Media, Sky, Vodafone, Three, and others should take a stand and block access to the services.

Niamh Smyth also says Apple and Google should remove Grok and X from their stores while it is generating CSAM and nonconsensual intimate images of women. A much tougher government stance than we've heard from some colleagues in recent days.

The story this week is so important, in my view. It's about the morals of Big Tech and billionaires with riches and power beyond limit - but just far broader than that how far are government and authorities here and around the world willing to let them go. (1/2)
