The International Vasculitis Workshop is coming up! One of my favorite meetings for it's sense of community, and possibilities of forming meaningful collaborations (PEXIVAS was hatched in one of them). Call for early career scientists is here

just one small note on %FPE/genetics. The concept that genetic forms have โฌ๏ธFPE is confounded. Most FSGS related to slit-diaphragm genes presenting with NS have โฌ๏ธFPE. We see nearly total FPE with TRPC6, INF2, NPHS1, NPHS2, MYO1E et al

Phenotypic differences between AAV patients in Japan (compared to USA/EU) are obvious. In this study, we surveyed patients presenting during the early phase of the pandemic. A striking difference in the use of glucocorticoids at 6 months has also been observed!
