One of my greatest pleasures as we've gotten deep into S2 has been the "Previously on #Severance " recaps, because it hits you with a jump scare of a scene from S1 and you know "Oh, we're going to get into THAT now"

Agree! I’ve been rewatching Twin Peaks recently, while also watching Yellowjackets—clearly, heavily influenced by TP. YJ has its own virtues, but it’s a faster, louder show. One of the truly sublime beauties of Twin Peaks is the pace—the pauses, the ominous silences. Severance really gets that.
