#emeto welp, I have now cleaned up sick from all three of the small mammals that live here this week, and perhaps we could not do that any more? So much laundry, so much cleaning, ugh. Poor wee poppets, but also poor large mammals dealing with it all!

Really spending a remarkable amount of time atm juggling job applications/interview prep and looking after a sick toddler/being sick myself. This whole job hunting thing was meant to be easier now I’m out of work but events do keep conspiring!

Phoebe and I met at school, and I’m still in touch with a lot of my friends from then. Four us live relatively near each other and all had babies within six months, which has been so nice!

I saw the Bridge’s production of Into the Woods yesterday, really enjoyed it! My first Sondheim! Had an awful lot of feelings though and booked it out of the theatre before the curtain calls were done to make extra sure I would be home before the hatchling’s bedtime 😭

Earlier this year, I got made redundant. I’ve been able to stay on in my team for a little while doing short term contracts but that’s now also come to an end, and my last day is this Wednesday. I’ve been job hunting since March but so far, no luck. It’s a weird, sad time.
