I'm digging that I only post once every few days now. Constantly scrolling socials wasn't good for me. They elevate the most evil people and put them front and center in my mind. And after awhile I was starting to believe that that vile sample was the *average* person. I can't believe that.

I suppose ultimately my take here is that this sucks, Dan shouldn't have done this and WotC should have caught this. But if you are building some grand conspiracy around it, take a step outside and get some oxygen in your system, and then think it through again.

Regarding Dan Frazier: A lot of mtg players are showing their asses right now. I do not find it impossible or even difficult to believe that a successful old man in high standing got lazy and took a shortcut that ultimately hurt a younger woman artist.

10 days since surgery and I'm feeling good! I'm off pain meds and my mobility is mostly returned. This is the danger point where I have to be careful not to overdo it. Also - after 10 days of convalescing I'm very easily tired just doing laundry.

Day 8. Pain is mostly gone but it hurts to laugh or stretch wrong. I can walk about and do my little tasks but the "doctors" say I'm not allowed to lift 10lbs or drive. 🙄

I hate this. Give my back my ability to move. My ability to bend. My ability to feel sexy. My only options are pain or nausea.

My takeaway from 5 days of surgery recovery:

Day 4(?) of recovery. My mobility is much better. Thankfully I can now get out of bed unassisted. I almost had a nice relaxing day today until the pain meds caused enough nausea to spoil things.
