From six years ago (🫠), here's my basic pitch for a new CRITTERS movie. I want another Western-tinged entry like the original and 2, so a space prison flick seems like a great way to bring that energy while doing something new for the series. Yes, this is me at my absolute nerdiest.

It’s only a big “conversation” when you act like it has to be? With our kids, the one sort of tough part was telling them that some in the world still disapprove of gay people. But that those prejudiced people are wrong. Otherwise no big deal. Now, talking with them about Death - THAT was hard.

So @zebdallas.bsky.social had a great time at his first #bfest. He watched about 3 or 4 movies and loved the audience participation in WIZARD OF SPEED AND TIME and PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE. We came back a bit early since he was really missing home but it was a great weekend with super swell people.

B-fest has been a ton of fun , awesome to put a few faces to names that I’ve known on this and the bird site in the past for years! I definitely am getting too old for these kind of theater-seat marathons, since im pretty sore and my body wants to do things. So chilling with kiddo for a bit.

Watched the newest episode of STARFLEET ACADEMY (s1e8) I am wrecked. This might be one of, if not the best episodes of trek period. Feeling seen is important and I felt seen. For anyone who has been told you are “too much” for being you, this is your episode. Also voyager. Beautiful.

Had a great night watching @dekkoparsnip2.bsky.social ‘s stream last night and finishing my Lego Gizmo. Also played some resident evil 9. Then i took my steam deck to bed. Bad idea to play it in the dark close to my face. Scary game is scary. And excellent so far. I play slowly but thats ok!

Had a really good time at SCREAM 7. Its more scream, silly and stupid at times and definitely messy but a fun roller coaster. Certain characters stole the show but overall i got my tickets worth.

Excited to see SCREAM 7 in about an hour and a half!

I have never been that mad at a movie. But mad at friends? When exiting THE BROTHERS GRIMM, they said it “sucked” b/c “it was bad” When pressed, their reasoning was it was “shitty”. People that have strong opinions on media but cant discuss those opinions drive me up a wall.
