The dental saga continues. The pain in the infected tooth is worse today. My dentist just switched me to a stronger antibiotic. I have to be seen again tomorrow for them to open the tooth up. It sounds like the infection is too bad for me to wait until next week for my scheduled root canal.

I have been to the dentist three times in the last week. Once to have a tooth pulled, and now the last two times because I had a dry socket where the tooth was removed. I had to be numbed up each time, and this last time they had to stitch it up to keep a medicated dressing in place.

It’s funny. There are times my Imposter Syndrome flares up at work. Then right when I’m feeling like I’m the worst employee ever, I get unprompted feedback telling me that I’m actually doing well. It’s kind of a mind fuck.

Grief makes me feel crazy. It’s funny how the right decision for me can still cause me grief. It’s hitting me hard tonight. In part, grief for all the years I feel I missed out on happiness and being my true self. But also grieving things that feel like they shouldn’t matter. Rollercoaster.

It’s been in the 90’s here. Our Greyhound wants to be out as little as possible. But our Mini Blue Heeler? He’s been wanting to stay out and lounge in the heat, only coming inside when we make him. Here he is telling me “no thanks, I’ll stay out here.” I don’t get it. lol #miniblueheeler #heatwave
