When I retired to bed last night I spotted the waning gibbous moon. I knew that Artemis must've been between me and the near full moon so I waved. I wonder if they waved back?

Not just indie press. When Harry Potter was released Bloomsbury blew 95 % of their promoting budget on it to howls of protests from their catalogue authors.

I wish I could express how mad I get on behalf of my friends who will get book deals and then the publisher does zero promotion. That's supposed to be the whole benefit of going through a publisher, and they can't even be bothered now? It's maddening.
