Immigrant rights and social justice organizations across Georgia are sounding the alarm after witnessing the largest ICE raid in history at the Hyundai supplier and LG Energy Solution plant in Ellabell, GA. Without warning, 475 workers were taken from their jobs midday.

Each of us must, like Judge Sooknanan, take every possible opportunity to show up for our neighbors. No matter if it's 2:30 in the morning or 2:30 in the afternoon. No matter if the state violence is directed at children or adults. We must not stand down.

💔 This past Sunday, our base showed up in the thousands across the country to protest the detention and deportation machine. Jews & allies took to the streets, insisting on our right to publicly mourn the horrors of our so-called immigration system. In total, 11 cities took action.

On Tisha B'Av, a large Jewish response to anti-immigration policy, organized by T'ruah at Burlington ICE. Eight years ago, it was at the courthouse in Boston. Now, it's straight to the ICE field office in my town.

Thousands of New Yorkers march in lower Manhattan calling for ICE out of New York. Starting at Foley Square and organized by PSL, the masses have flooded the streets and are moving west. This demo is permitted but even if it wasn’t, it would be far too large for NYPD to contain.

I just went to a super informative ICE watch training from @ifnotnowmovement.org @jfrejnyc.bsky.social @neveragainactn.bsky.social So appreciative of all the expertise that was shared, I feel equipped not just to do ICE watch myself & report to @dcmigrantmutualaid.org but also to tell friends how.

One thing that's giving me hope is that there are 750 Jews from across the country on a virtual ICE Watch training hosted by @jfrejnyc.bsky.social , @neveragainactn.bsky.social and @ifnotnowmovement.org. Not only will we outlive them, but together, we will build a better, more just world.
