Leqaa Kordia is a young Palestinian woman who is being subjected to retaliatory and viewpoint discriminatory immigration confinement, because of her speaking out about Palestine - where Israeli military violence has claimed nearly 200 members of her own family.

I had the honor of protesting next to Rabbi Waskow in 2019 to shut down ICE HQ in DC. As I risked arrest while Rabbi Waskow sang prayers I grew up learning in shul, it cemented for me that my activism & my Judaism were indistinguishable from one another. May his memory be a blessing.

🧊 As we begin the new Jewish year, the federal government begins its new fiscal year - one in which ICE's budget is set to triple.

Immigrant rights and social justice organizations across Georgia are sounding the alarm after witnessing the largest ICE raid in history at the Hyundai supplier and LG Energy Solution plant in Ellabell, GA. Without warning, 475 workers were taken from their jobs midday.

Each of us must, like Judge Sooknanan, take every possible opportunity to show up for our neighbors. No matter if it's 2:30 in the morning or 2:30 in the afternoon. No matter if the state violence is directed at children or adults. We must not stand down.

🕯️ Our beloved friend, Cata “Xóchitl” Santiago, was abducted by ICE on August 3rd and is still being held in detention in El Paso. We are devastated, and we are asking you to take action.

💔 This past Sunday, our base showed up in the thousands across the country to protest the detention and deportation machine. Jews & allies took to the streets, insisting on our right to publicly mourn the horrors of our so-called immigration system. In total, 11 cities took action.

On Tisha B'Av, a large Jewish response to anti-immigration policy, organized by T'ruah at Burlington ICE. Eight years ago, it was at the courthouse in Boston. Now, it's straight to the ICE field office in my town.

Absolutely infuriating. Three times since 2016 Kerr County ahs asked the Texas Dept. of Emergency Management (TDEM) for a $1 million flood alert program and were denied each time. Meanwhile, TDEM has spent hundreds of millions on "border security" boondoggle contracts under Op. Lone Star.
