Today is the first day in nearly two years that I've not worked on this novel - it's finally finished! ...well, okay, there's one more edit pass to go once I have a proof copy, but for now the next Grace Telluride book is in the hands of my cover artist/typesetter. It's pretty big!

Only between Cascades - massive space stations that fold ships&comms between solar systems. If the Cascade is well-maintained, it's safe, but many are left to rot for budget reasons... Fold failure isn't pretty. Ships & crews come out mangled, not alive, not dead, captured in a moment for eternity.

Yes! The first two novels I ever wrote: A fantasy/horror about a bunch of people stuck in a haunted house during a plague... and an epic fantasy involving enormous sea monsters and tons of weird ocean-themed body horror! (I also want to rewrite Metal Ghost and make it into a proper book! :)
