We have a saying in our family: Don’t start a fight. But if someone else does, make sure you finish it. The Trump administration loves to start fights. They wildly underestimate the ability of NATO, Minnesotans and ordinary Americans to finish them.

In 1916, the US was worried that Germany might take control of the Danish West Indies to use as a submarine base. So, Denmark sold the Danish West Indies to the USA, with the colony becoming the US Virgin Islands. In exchange, the USA acknowledged Denmark's complete sovereignty over Greenland.

Soldiers from all of those countries have fought beside Americans, and died for the USA, because we are allies. They are now focused on supporting their allies again against the latest threat - the USA. If there is an American who feels no shame at this, stand up and tell me why.
