I did my voting today! It’s Election Day, so we are putting ours in a drop box, but I still wanted to put a stamp on anyway.

Here’s what bothers me about the dog agility shows: the humans get the awards at the end! What did they do to deserve an award? The pupper is the one that runs the course, does the barking, all of it.

I’m having a serious “what now?” moment with work and my career. My manager just resigned for personal reasons. I’ve worked in crisis and crisis-adjacent spaces for so long and wonder if I should start planning my next transition too.

My partner said they had been to the Bimbo factory outlet but had never tried the bread. The first thing that came to my mind were all those sad trans puppy-bimbo girls just sitting at the outlet store, marked down for clearance.

One of the managers at my day job just announced she is leaving her position. It would be a neat promotion into a lower-stress program and would put me back on day-shift but might require me to work in an office and would upend my private practice. Decisions decisions.

I had to get a hair cut yesterday and ended up with about 3” cut off because that’s where it got dry and tangly. I wish I could get my hair to grow out longer, but this is the length it seems to like most.

I forgot how hectic getting around the city can be. I got my toes ran over on the train, and then was distracted by a doggie when I got off and gummed up the works at the station. To be fair, it was a really good doggie.
