It increasingly seems like Bluesky moderation/admin is simply actively transphobic as a matter of policy. Which, yes, was clear even before they special-cased Jesse Singal's behavior as not harassment or Jay's "WAFFLES LOL" post, but it seems it's really ratcheted up in recent weeks.

It's wild that SDR is like one, maybe two, "things" Meanwhile HDR is like 12 dimensions of format, color space, software support, OS support, hardware performance, panel technology, calibration settings, and arbitrary target brightness levels chosen by each individual creator of any piece of media

about the new push for "age verification" (aka mandatory online ID checks) in Massachusetts and how it will hurt kids and help Trump. Send this to people you know in MA and tell them to send it to their state senators & the governor!

It's not the same thing, but this is why I recoil at every gleeful rumor that the next Siri will be "powered by (insert AI company here)" none of the problems with it would be solved with an LLM, but an LLM can cause so many new problems

Haven't read the full paper yet. The phrasing here is implying they "found its emotions" when they more so found vectors that affect how it outputs text that seem to correlate with emotional concepts. Which seems like what they've already found in other interpretability studies, not sure what's new?
