That Tim Patrick drop was Trevor Lawrence's 29th suffered drop this season per
@ftnfantasy.com
. That's 6 more than any other quarterback. Lawrence has more drops this year than Tyrod Taylor, Lamar Jackson, J.J. McCarthy, Jordan Love, and Sam Darnold had pass attempts in the early window today.

Most analysts exaggerate the impact of singular players on an NFL team that aren't quarterbacks. If anything, the Joe Alt discourse might be understating his impact. h/t

Dak’s having a monster year given how tight the windows have been. Shows how far just one more quality receiver can take him.

The Eagles landed an elite pass rusher in Jaelan Phillips, who added four more pressures last week against Detroit.

I have no idea if Tyler Shough or Spencer Rattler are any good, but it's not going to matter with tackles like these.

Caleb is holding the ball longer than anyone in the NFL, which has created a high pressure rate. He's now far better at avoiding those pressures this season and is avoiding sacks almost twice as frequently as the next most elusive QB.

talking about Caleb Williams's time to throw, I looked at what we can call Creation Time, which is the difference between time to pressure and time to throw when pressured, then plotted it against pressure to sack rate, per FTN. Caleb in a world on his own.

Patrick Mahomes: Sacks and Failed Scrambles
How often does Patrick Mahomes really escape the pass rush? Short scrambles show it isn't as often as you might think.

the Vikings defense ranks 1st in passing DVOA and 27th in rushing DVOA so there is something for the Browns to poke at even with a rookie QB making his first start.

Here's a table with the weakest schedules including the Patriots and Bills, full-season schedule based on DVOA through Week 4. NE has only 2 games against teams currently in the DVOA Top 12 (BUFx2). BUF has only 2 games against teams currently in the DVOA Top 12 (KC, PHI).

Turnover-Worthy Throws vs. Interceptions
Matthew Stafford and Patrick Mahomes are among the quarterbacks who have been lucky this season in having turnover-worthy throws not become interceptions.

, I can renew this old graphic I call Pillboxes. Each tick is one snap. Upticks are passes, downticks are runs. See all 11 players on the field at the same time! Pacheco and B.Smith sticking with mostly early down work, Kareem getting most of the 3rds.

Baker has faced the third most frequent pressure in the NFL despite having one of the quickest average time to pass in the NFL. Daniel Jones is getting blitzed more often than anyone else in the league and has the highest DVOA against the blitz in the NFL.

Passing DYAR through three games. Daniel Jones 442 (!!!) Josh Allen 353 Justin Herbert 274 Jared Goff and Lamar Jackson will probably end up somewhere between Allen and Herbert after tonight. Nobody else is above 200.

It's pretty wild that you can see who the best playcallers are within two weeks from such a simple chart. Mike McDaniel is going to end up paying a price for the Dolphins that he doesn't derserve.

Mac Jones threw into tight coverage just three times on Sunday. Drake Maye leads the NFL in throwing into open windows through two weeks. Bryce Young has thrown the most frequent hospital balls into closing coverage.

Isaiah McGuire is getting a ton of benefit from playing on the same defensive line as Myles Garrett. Joey Bosa has also been a great addition for the Bills so far.

Broderick Jones is under a lot of criticism in Pittsburgh as he's allowed the second-most initial pressures in the NFL through two weeks. However, his average time to pressure is more consistent with those that have allowed about half the number of pressures.

As we all expected, the top players in my DYAR stats after two weeks are Daniel Jones passing and Javonte Williams rushing. (Puka Nacua leads in receiving, which makes more sense!)
