Of course, giving people vouchers doesn't mean that all landlords honor them but cash in hand is another story. You want to solve homelessness, implement UBI!

This is a long read, but well worth it. UBI works in improving many areas of life, it's cheaper to administer than conditional benefits. We, any we. can afford it. The problem with getting it? Lack of political will from a political class bought by the rich.

It would literally cost less to provide UBI and housing, but we'd rather punish people for being poor.
